The internal corridors are unwelcoming with unpleasant odors!!! The rooms could definitely use a thorough clean and attention to missing fittings. Better noise control is essential for a more restful stay!!!

It was a good basic hotel.

A charming stay with friendly staff

I enjoyed my time at Newark Hotel during a peaceful work trip. The friendly staff made check-in smooth, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. Free parking was a significant plus.

The communal areas felt tired and a bit dim, which detracted from the overall ambiance. The lack of 24/7 staffing was concerning since I couldn't reach anyone during a noisy night.

Overall pleasant stay on a weekend. Clean place, efficient and knowledgeable staff, magnificent location. Lovely beds in our queen room. Facilities - a work desk, a coffee/tea maker and a TV. Late check-out.

Although the shared bathrooms were well-maintained, the lack of privacy in the shower was inconvenient. The direct email communication with the hotel was really good, allowing for an early check-in.

The staff was genuinely friendly. The communal kitchen was handy for warming meals. The location was quite peaceful, and I enjoyed relaxing by the fairy lights.

The bathroom lacked a proper lock and more towel hangers would be great.

Cute staff and clean rooms make for a decent stay

I enjoyed my time here, especially because the room was clean and had everything necessary for a short stay. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my early check-in and allowed me to check out slightly late as well. I did find the shared bathrooms a bit cramped during peak times.

The shared bathrooms were clean and had hot water always. While it felt safe with locked doors and cameras, I did wish for more towel hangers. For a quick stay, it was decent.

Clean room, friendly staff, the breakfast was a good full English, perfectly cooked and served with ample coffee to start the day off right.

This hotel was super clean and free parking was awesome. My room was nice, cozy and well appointed. It's just a 20 mins walk to the town center which is a big plus!

the area felt a bit dead with not much around and i wish there were more dining options nearby.

Clean room with tv. Wi-fi was unreliable, and no smoking policy seemed strict.

The rooms are great value for money and brand-new with extremely comfy beds. the location is handy and easy, really close to town centre as well as the center - couldn't be better. - the bar is pleasant.

The staff members are courteous and understanding. the rooms are cheap and airy even with the radiators switched off. - the location is perfect in a residential area. - There is a variety of supplies like an electric kettle, a work desk, and television.
